  Eco Pond doesn't have much of a trail, the boardwalk was destroyed during a hurricane some years ago and was never rebuilt. Bitting insects will be a problem as well. I recommend you come prepared or stop by the outfitters store in the nearby Flamingo Visitor Center for repellent.
